Coats with hoods velcro

I recently bought this jacket and am confused about the hood. There is a velcro strip on the back that apparently is to allow you to roll the hood up and hold it in place in the rolled up position. Velcro®-closure elastic cuffs and internal fleece cuffs keep snow out and lock in warmth. Velcro loop to fold up the hood but I think my hair will probably get stuck in the Velcro and this May get annoying.
